Mission Statement

The mission of the Wallenberg Research Link (WRL) is to enable Sweden as a knowledge society to establish collaborations with forefront research at Stanford University.  The WRL leadership participates in the selection of Swedish post-doctoral fellows funded by various Wallenberg Foundations and provides some administrative support for their stay at Stanford University.  The WRL also supports Swedish students and researchers in continuing their contact with Stanford University.

The WRL is funded by a gift from the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation to Stanford University. Professor Britt Hedman serves as director with Professor emeritus Arthur Bienenstock serving as co-director and Elaine Minderler as its administrator.
